Cooper the Beagle

Crochet your own Cooper the Beagle Puppy. This pattern is intermediate, but if you have basic amigurumi skills, you can make it. 

This pattern is in English and written in US terms; it is a semi-low-sew pattern. The Dog has some sewn pieces. The body is made in one section; insert the legs and arms as you make it. The Muzzle and head are also one piece. The ears and tummy Patch are made in rows and sewn on afterwards.

- HOW THIS PATTERN IS CONSTRUCTED-

The pattern starts with the head; you'll make all the pieces of the dog first. The legs of the dog are attached to the body as you crochet it. You will have to sew on the ears, head, tummy patch and tail.

-WHAT YOU WILL NEED:.

Scissors

Stuffing 

14 mm for the skinny chenille, double knit yarn; for thicker plush, 20mm-25mm eyes

Stitch marker

Tapestry needle

- WHAT I USED IN THIS PATTERN: These are the following things I used to make this pattern -

♠HOOK:

4mm Crochet hook for the dog

♠YARN:

Kismet Plush velvet yarn / Chunky /weight 4/12ply

Brown shade: 29 ( 100g /120m)

White: 06 (60g / 73m)

Black: 05 ( 35g / 42m)

Note: These are estimates based on my use; yarn usage can change in tension and hook adjustments)

Cotton thread for shaping the head (Fingering weight/3ply)

-PRODUCT SIZE:

This product can be made in different weights of yarn.

Size with the plush yarn used is 30cm/ 11.8inch
